Hundreds of Florida State University students on Wednesday celebrated the lives of three fellow students who died in a car crash over the weekend. Members of campus Greek-letter organizations and others wrote memorial cards and shed tears for Morgan Carr, Kevin Boos and Vicenzio "Cenzo" Libio at a memorial vigil in the courtyard of FSU's Wescott Building. Zeta Tau Alpha sorority organized the memorial. Carr was a member.

Local and national country and rock bands performed at the event, which is a precursor to Florida State University home football games. The university's Marching Chiefs band also played. Vendors filled the street, selling food, Seminoles apparel and entertainment. Here, Alexandra Whitehorse, 9, tosses a ring in a roadside game.
